“Purple Panty Dropper (often referred to as PPD) is an exciting, stress-relieving strain that relaxes and arouses you in an amount appropriate for such a bold name. This strain is like a mental and physical de-spasm, one that is infamous for giving its users the three “H’s” of ideal caveman living: happiness, horniness, and hunger. Its THC content ranges from 16% to 22%, though some sources cite the spectrum as even larger, providing a clue to how much this Indica-dominant (70/30) lust magnet will make you feel.
The California-based breeders at Humboldt created this strain as a hybrid between the powerfully sweet cerebral-stimulator, Purple Haze, and the strains Oregon Grape and Matanuskan Mist. Its terpene content favors Myrcene, Phellandrene, and Caryophyllene, though there are others in the mix. They’re what gives the strain a super sweet onset that’s slightly grape, slightly berry, and slightly citrus. It then evolves into a more earthy, herbal finish with hints of eucalyptus, pepper, lavender, and wood.
